Mark Ofori

Mark is a seasoned Financial Management professional with over twenty-four years of international corporate experience in accounting, auditing, tax advisory, and corporate governance. He is also the Managing Partner of Virtual Point Associates (VPA), an independent category B+ Accounting and Auditing firm in Ghana. For eight years, Mark served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Law and Development Associates (LADA). He has managed over 30 major projects, primarily in capacity building, research, and legislative development in Ghana and the West African sub-region. He possesses wealth of experience in corporate governance. Currently, he sits on the boards of many SMEs in Ghana, such as Law and Development Associates, Consumer Insight Consult (CIC), Marine Services Limited, First Element Trading, Herp Conservation Ghana, and Ploutus Ghana Limited. He was a board member of the Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo), served as an audit committee member for the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and now, with the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA). Mark is the Technical Adviser to the Group CEO and MD of GOIL PLC. Additionally, he holds a directorship at Deep Rock Inc. (Nigeria). Mark holds a BSc., earned MBA (Accounting) from the University of Ghana Business School, he is a fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). Other professional memberships and practice include the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG), the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIT), and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Abewini is the founder and lead at Abewini Consults- an award-winning Sortlist-certified boutique marketing consulting firm based in Ghana. He is also the founder and lead at Tangkama Company Limited. Tangkama, also an award-winning company, Ghanaian business with interests and specialty in Courier Services, Distribution and Retail Consumer Goods, Merchandising Services, Consulting, and Agribusiness, among others. In the last decade, Abewini has been recognized by many prestigious entities for his exceptional contribution to his profession, the business community and industry. Abewini has worked within the Non-Profit, Insurance, micro-Banking, FMCG, and Consulting sectors in various capacities. Abewini has provided leadership in the execution of countless big bet projects of significant financial and leadership responsibilities throughout his professional career. He has, for several years, been company Secretary to many entities and sits on the Boards of some of the most prestigious SMEs in Ghana. He is a commercial rice farmer as well and Abewini remains goal-oriented and a relentless believer in personal progress. He is passionate about his country (Ghana), people’s development and Applied Technology. Abewini is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) Ghana and the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG). He holds an MBA from China Europe International Business School.
Ireneus Gundona
Director | CEOIreneus is a seasoned Market Research and Business Intelligence practitioner. He is the founding partner and CEO of Consumer Insights Consult – a full-service Market and Social research firm; dedicated to the provision of actionable and meaningful research services. He was very instrumental in establishing CIC footprints across 15 West and Central African countries. He has over 25 years hands-on experience in supporting clients’ strategic plans and initiatives with insights and commercially viable recommendations. Ireneus has enormous experience in corporate governance; in the lead-up to founding CIC, he has worked with RMS – TNS in various capacities spanning senior research manager and country lead. He has worked in Ghana and Cote Ivoire; where he was the country manager for RMS – TNS (Cote Ivoire) for three years. Ireneus supervised research projects for various Multi-national companies including British American Tobacco, UNICEF, USAID, GSMF, CMS, Unilever, Multi-choice, Guinness, Cadbury, MTN, Coca Cola, Nestle, VOA, RFI and BBC etc. Well versed in the use and application of various research methods, tools and software; with proven track records in scaling up research firms, driving innovations in methodologies, techniques, client services and accounts management. With his partner-led orientation and engagement mindset; Ireneus coordinates and oversees all projects for CIC multi-national and local clients such as Nestle, Promasidor, GB Foods, MTN, AirtelTigo, Mathematica, Supreme Ventures, Kasapreko, Petra, Goil, Fidelity Bank, Access Bank etc. Dr. Gundona is an alumni of Nobel International Business School (NiBS), where he earned Doctor of Business Administration & Management. He holds MSc (Marketing & Business Management) from the University of Bedfordshire, UK and B.A (Hons) Political Science from the University of Ghana. He is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) and holds practicing membership of several professional groups including the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), African Market Research Association (AMRA), European Society for Opinion and Market Research (ESOMAR) Global, World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR), Market Research Society (MRS) and the Ghana Market Researchers Association (GHAMRA)
